Mehran Nik Akhtar

Mehran Nik Akhtar is currently serving as a Diagnostic Medical Physics Resident at West Physics since 2023. Prior to this role, Mehran held the position of Graduate Research Assistant at East Carolina University from August 2021 to May 2023 and worked as a Research Assistant at the Biomedical Research Imaging Center from August 2018 to May 2019. Earlier experience includes serving at Alamance Community College in the Information Desk position from August 2015 to May 2017. Mehran holds a Master's degree in Health/Medical Physics from East Carolina University (2021-2023), a Bachelor's degree in Physics from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill (2017-2020), and an Associate of Science degree from Alamance Community College (2015-2017).
