Marshall Hatch Jr. is an accomplished leader and educator with extensive experience in civil rights advocacy, higher education, and community engagement. As Co-Founder and Executive Director of The Maafa Redemption Project since June 2017, Marshall has dedicated efforts to addressing social justice issues. Currently, Marshall serves as a Lecturer at The University of Chicago Divinity School and is involved with the Economic Club of Chicago. Additionally, Marshall is an Executive Leadership Council member and Community Advisory Council member at West Side United. Marshall's professional background includes serving on the Board of Directors for Lawndale Christian Health Center and as a Civil Rights Analyst-Intern for the United States Commission on Civil Rights. Educationally, Marshall holds a Master of Divinity and a Master of Social Work from the University of Chicago, a Bachelor's degree from Bates College, and is pursuing a Doctorate in Arts and a Doctorate in Philosophy.
