Gary Jefferson

Gary Jefferson has a diverse work experience spanning over several decades. Gary has held various leadership and managerial roles in the education and manufacturing sectors. In their most recent position as Group Deputy Principal at West Suffolk College, they were responsible for curriculum development and ensuring the quality of education. Prior to that, they served as Executive Director and Assistant Principal at the same college, overseeing the curriculum and quality of specific departments. Gary also had significant experience in the manufacturing industry, working as a General Manager and Production Manager for companies like Power Steering Services and Mussett Engineering. Gary has also been involved in several advisory and board roles, including being a Regional Board Member at Make UK and a Board Member at NAAME.

Gary Jefferson attended University Campus Suffolk from 2010 to 2012, where they obtained a Cert Ed (QTLS) degree in Education. In 2010, they also attended Great Yarmouth College and received an A1 Assessors Award in Education. Prior to that, from 1991 to 1995, Gary studied at City College Norwich, specializing in Computer Aided Engineering, and obtained a City and Guilds 230 degree. Additionally, they have obtained certifications as an Approved T Level Provider from City & Guilds, which were obtained in 2023.
