Dana Voelker

Dana Voelker is an accomplished academic and professional in the field of Kinesiology, currently serving as the Director of the School of Sport Sciences and an Associate Professor at West Virginia University since August 2014. Voelker has also held the position of Associate Director within the same school and directs Undergraduate Online Education at the College of Physical Activity and Sport Sciences. As the owner of DKV Performance Consulting since August 2012, Voelker combines academic expertise with practical application. Previous academic experience includes tenure-track Assistant Professor roles at SUNY Brockport from August 2012 to July 2014. Voelker holds a PhD in Kinesiology and a Master of Arts in Counseling from Michigan State University, as well as a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from Penn State University, where the highest distinction was achieved. Early education was completed at Shady Side Academy, graduating cum laude.
