Maryanne Reed

Maryanne Reed is currently the Provost and Vice President of Academic Affairs at West Virginia University, where Maryanne provides leadership and direction for academic programming and activities and faculty affairs on multiple campuses. Maryanne has been involved with West Virginia University for a significant period, serving as the Dean of Reed College of Media and a faculty member at the School of Journalism. Prior to their roles at the university, Maryanne has worked as a reporter, anchor, writer, and associate producer in various TV stations. Maryanne holds a Master of Science in Journalism from Northwestern University and a Bachelor of Arts in History from the University of Massachusetts, Amherst.
