Riva Denny

Riva Denny is a Senior Study Director and Research Data Manager at Westat since October 2022. Riva's previous experience includes serving as a Postdoctoral Research Fellow at the University of Michigan from August 2019 to September 2022, where responsibilities encompassed survey design, data cleaning, and statistical analysis using various software. Prior roles at Michigan State University involved positions ranging from Research Associate to Research Assistant, focusing on mail survey development and ecological research. Riva also contributed as a Teaching Assistant at the University of Michigan ICPSR and fulfilled roles in writing and as a consultant at the Michigan State University Writing Center. Riva holds a Ph.D. in Sociology from Michigan State University and has advanced degrees in Rural Sociology and Cultural Anthropology.
