Sajad Vahedi

Sajad Vahedi is a seasoned researcher with a strong background in economics and analysis. Currently serving as a Principal Research Associate and Senior Study Director at Westat since January 2023, Sajad previously worked as an Economist at the American Institutes for Research. Prior experience includes a role as a Research Associate at IMPAQ International from 2017 to January 2022 and academic positions at Arizona State University from 2011 to 2017, focusing on research and teaching while pursuing a PhD in Economics. Sajad holds a PhD in Economics from Arizona State University, along with a Master’s Degree in Economics and a Bachelor of Science in Industrial Engineering, both from Sharif University of Technology.
