Dickon Baird

Dickon Baird is the Deputy Head at Westbrook Hay Prep School, responsible for the day-to-day operations of the school and overseeing a coeducational independent Prep School with 370 pupils. Prior to this role, Dickon was the Head of Boarding and Head of History at Cheltenham College, where Dickon led the Boarding House and Department, implemented curriculum changes, and prepared scholarship candidates for senior schools. With a background in teaching English and History, Dickon has also worked at New Beacon School and Junior King's School, bringing expertise in pastoral care, sports coaching, and extracurricular activities. Dickon holds a Master of Education in Educational Leadership and Management from the University of Buckingham.
