Sushmitha Shettar

Sushmitha Shettar has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and industries. In 2018, they worked as a Teaching Assistant and Mentor at the School of Engineering and Technology, IUPUI. Sushmitha continued their role as a Research Assistant while also working on an IoT project at the same institution from June 2019 to April 2020. During this time, they contributed to the development of a smart evacuation device for multi-storied buildings. Sushmitha successfully helped develop a network of interconnected microcontrollers and designed PCB prototypes to make the exit signs cost-effective.

In 2021, Sushmitha joined DD DANNAR, LLC as a Computer Engineering Intern, where they gained hands-on experience in the field. Sushmitha then worked as a Research Assistant at Saint Louis University from September 2021 to May 2022.

In 2022, Sushmitha joined John Deere as a CI Project Manager, where they managed continuous improvement projects until January 2023.

Currently, Sushmitha is working as an Associate Product Manager at Westell starting from January 2023.

Sushmitha Shettar completed their Bachelor's degree from Indiana University–Purdue University Indianapolis in Quantitative Economics from 2017 to 2021. Simultaneously, they also pursued a Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering from Purdue University during the same period.
