Kelsey Jones

Kelsey Jones is an experienced higher education professional currently serving as an Assistant Professor of Practice at Western Carolina University since June 2019, where additional roles include Senior Assistant Director for Leadership Programs and previous positions in leadership and recreational sports. Prior to this, Kelsey held the role of Intramural Sports Coordinator at Louisiana State University from May 2017 to May 2019, and gained experience as a Competitive Sports Graduate Assistant at the University of Florida from July 2015 to May 2017. Kelsey began a career in sports management at the University of Central Florida, holding various positions from Intramural Sports Program Assistant to Intramural Sports Official between August 2011 and July 2015. Currently pursuing a Doctor of Education in Educational Leadership and Higher Education Administration at Western Carolina University, Kelsey also holds a Master of Education in Student Personnel in Higher Education from the University of Florida and a Bachelor of Science in English/Language Arts Teacher Education from the University of Central Florida.
