Sushma Rao

Sushma Rao currently serves as a Study Physician at Boehringer Ingelheim and as a Per Diem Infectious Disease Physician at Western Connecticut Medical Group, both positions held since February 2019. Prior experience includes roles as an Assistant Clinical Professor of Medicine at Quinnipiac University from October 2017 to February 2019 and as a Physician specializing in Infectious Diseases at Westmed Medical Group and Norwalk Medical Group, P.C. from August 2017 to August 2017 and February 2015 to August 2017, respectively. Sushma Rao completed an Infectious Diseases Fellowship at Einstein Healthcare Network and an Internal Medicine Residency at Interfaith Medical Center. An early career included a research volunteer role at the University of Pennsylvania and a junior resident position funded by the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation.
