Rajeev Ganesh

Rajeev Ganesh is a seasoned professional in the semiconductor industry with extensive experience in diverse leadership roles. Currently serving as Director of Nand Systems Design at Western Digital since May 2025, Rajeev leads the Nand Systems Team across multiple product lines, focusing on the architecture of Optinand drives. Prior to this role, Rajeev was Director of ASIC Validation at NXP Semiconductors, overseeing SOC Validation for several product lines and successfully leading a flagship controller project to Tape Out. Earlier positions include Senior Manager of ASIC Development Engineering at Western Digital, where Rajeev established the ASIC Validation function in Bangalore, and various engineering management roles at Broadcom Limited, specializing in firmware development for Bluetooth, NFC, and Wi-Fi SoCs. Rajeev’s career began at Intel Corporation, where responsibilities included leading embedded systems development and silicon validation. Rajeev holds a General Management degree from the Indian Institute of Management Ahmedabad and a Bachelor of Engineering in Electronics and Communication from Anna University Chennai.
