Rohan Shirsat

Rohan Shirsat is an accomplished engineering leader with extensive experience in system design and product development in the consumer electronics and semiconductor industries. Currently serving as Director of Systems Design Engineering at Western Digital since September 2021, Rohan manages system validation for a range of retail products, leading a high-performing team in validation architecture, testing, and failure analysis. As the Founder and Director of TickleBrains Software Pvt Ltd since July 2014, Rohan partners with multinational companies to develop consumer electronics prototypes for local markets. Previously, Rohan held significant roles at SanDisk® focusing on product quality and engineering for retail products, as well as leadership positions at Qualcomm and Intel, driving innovation and project management in product development. Rohan holds a Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering from Missouri University of Science and Technology and an Executive General Management certification from the Indian Institute of Management in Lucknow.
