Joaquin Peralta

Joaquin Peralta is a dedicated medical professional currently serving as a Resident Doctor at UNC Health since 2021 and simultaneously pursuing further medical education as a medical student at Western Michigan University Homer Stryker M.D. School of Medicine since 2017. Previous experience includes working as a Medical Scribe at ScribeAmerica, where responsibilities involved charting for medical providers in the Salem Hospital Emergency Department, and coaching the Varsity Girl's Tennis team while also working as a Bilingual Instructional Assistant at Salem-Keizer Public Schools, supporting English Language Learner students. Additional roles include Tennis Center Staff at the Eugene Family YMCA and Research Assistant at the University of Oregon Brain Development Lab. Joaquin Peralta earned a Doctor of Medicine degree from Western Michigan University and a Bachelor of Science in General Science from the University of Oregon's Clark Honors College.
