Joel Goldberg M.D.

Joel Goldberg, MD, currently serves as an Expert Witness at Goldberg Medical Consulting, providing expertise on standard of care issues since January 2017. In addition, Joel holds multiple positions including Physician Clinical Reviewer in Utilization Management at Evolent, Medical Director at Grifols Plasma Center, and Clinical Assistant Professor in the Department of Emergency Medicine at Western Michigan University Homer Stryker, M.D. School of Medicine. Joel has been an Emergency Physician at Southwest Michigan Emergency Services since 2008 and has held various leadership roles within that organization. Joel's military service includes ten years as a Major in the United States Air Force. Educational credentials include a Doctor of Medicine from Chicago Medical School, a Master of Arts in Biology from the University of California, Los Angeles, and a Bachelor of Science in Biology from the same institution.
