Charlotte Grill Brendel

Charlotte Grill Brendel currently serves as the Church Legacy Initiative Team Associate at the Western North Carolina Conference UMC, focusing on helping churches with revitalization and planning for their futures. Previously, Charlotte held various pastoral roles within the Western North Carolina Conference, including Associate Pastor at FUMC Morganton and Aldersgate UMC, as well as serving as a Congregational Vitality Strategist. Charlotte has extensive experience in church administration, discipleship formation, and education, having worked in multiple churches and served as a band director in public schools. A professional musician, Charlotte performed with various symphonies and contributed to the arts community. Educational qualifications include a Deacon Basic Graduate Theological Studies degree from Hood Theological Seminary, a Master of Christian Education from Pfeiffer University, and a Bachelor of Music in Music Education from Appalachian State University.
