Amy Murphy is the dean of Outreach and Workforce Education at Western Wyoming Community College. Her background consists of being in workforce development for over 30 years overseeing the entire non-credit programs including customized contract training, professional development workshops, continuing education, and Kids College. Ms. Murphy has developed strategic employer partnerships that has resulted in the development of career training programs to provide a highly skilled workforce. Ms. Murphy has a Master’s in Science in Workforce Education and Development from Southern Illinois University and a Bachelor’s of Science in Management with a specialization from Eastern Illinois University. She has also received certification from Learning Resource Network (LERN) as a certified program planner and certified eMarketing professional.

Western Wyoming Community College is a public, tax-supported, two-year, co-educational institution accredited by the Higher Learning Commission of the North Central Association of Colleges & Schools. Western offers two-year transfer degrees for students who plan to pursue a baccalaureate, two-year occupational degrees, a Bachelor of Applied Science in Business Management with a choice of two areas of emphasis, and a number of 1- and 2-semester occupational certificates for students who plan to directly enter the workforce or who want to learn new skills or brush up on others.
