Alexander Bender

Alexander Bender, PhD, is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in supply chain strategy and execution, currently serving as the Global Industry Lead for Retail, Wholesale, and Consumer Goods, as well as Director of Supply Chain Strategy & Execution at Westernacher since April 2015. Prior to this role, Alexander was a Principal at OPS Rules, where significant operational improvements were achieved for various clients, including a 40% productivity increase for a $2B Water Bottling company. Previous positions include strategic roles at Westernacher, PRTM, Syskoplan Consulting, Michael Taeger & Partner, and SAP America, where key contributions were made in operational strategies and IT consulting. Alexander holds a PhD in Management of Technology and Innovation and an MBA & MSc from Kiel University.
