Raymond Hannan

Raymond Hannan has extensive work experience in the insurance industry, with a focus on underwriting and management liability programs. Raymond is currently serving as the EVP & Chief of Corporate Underwriting at Westfield since August 2021. Prior to this, they were the Senior Vice President of Corporate Underwriting at Vantage Group Holdings Ltd from December 2020 to August 2021. Raymond played a crucial role in creating and launching the insurance platform at Vantage, overseeing various start-up initiatives. Before that, Raymond held senior positions at Aspen Insurance Group, where they managed underwriting for management liability programs and led the U.S. Management Liability Division. Raymond also worked as Vice President and Underwriting Counsel at Axis Capital, playing a key role in managing executive liability and related product lines. Raymond began their career as Assistant Counsel at Executive Risk, Inc., specializing in coverage counsel for director's and officer's liability and employment practices liability insurance policies. Overall, Raymond has a wealth of experience in underwriting, program management, and product development in the insurance industry.

Raymond Hannan earned a Juris Doctor (JD) degree in Law from the American University Washington College of Law from 1990 to 1993. Prior to that, they obtained a Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in History from Trinity College-Hartford between 1986 and 1990.
