Hubertus Hessel

Hubertus Hessel has a diverse range of work experience in various roles and companies. Hubertus began their career at Lauda Air Ltd. in 2001 as an IT Project Manager before moving to SWISSAIR Ltd. later that year. At SWISSAIR, they served as the Head of Revenue Management Systems Development. In 2002, Hubertus joined SWISS International Air Lines as the General Manager of Revenue Management Solutions, where they were responsible for system planning and contracting of Dynamic Pricing & Revenue Management Systems. Hubertus also served as a Project Manager for e-commerce during their time at SWISS. In 2008, Hubertus transitioned to NeuroPie Solutions Ltd. as a Product Manager before entering the airline industry again with AirBaltic in 2010. At AirBaltic, they held roles as the Head of Revenue Management Development and later as the Vice President of Revenue Management. In 2013, Hubertus joined Finnair and served as the Area Vice President of Revenue Management & Pricing, followed by a position as the Vice President of Commercial Strategy & Planning. Hubertus'smost recent experience was with British Airways, where they held the role of Revenue Delivery Manager in the Commercial Development department until 2022. Hubertus is currently working as the Director of Revenue Management at WestJet.
