Szilard Tinku

Szilard Tinku has a diverse work experience starting from 2009. Szilard worked as a Software Developer at New-GSoft Ltd. from September 2009 to February 2010. Szilard then worked at Hewlett-Packard as a Solution Architect and later as a Project Manager in the Enterprise Services division from April 2010 to January 2012. Tinku joined GE in September 2014 as a Senior IT Associate in Internal Management Consulting, where they completed IT audits and provided advisory services for various GE businesses. Szilard later served as a Senior Staff Technical Product Manager from October 2016 to September 2017. From September 2017 to December 2019, Tinku was the Director of Data & Analytics at GE, leading analytics innovation programs and executing data strategies for GE's Global Functions. In January 2020, they became the Director of Technical Product Management and Data & Analytics, a role they held until April 2022. Currently, Tinku is employed at WestJet as the Director of Intelligence & Analytics, starting in May 2022. Additionally, they will take on the role of Director of Advanced Analytics & Automation at WestJet in February 2023.

Szilard Tinku holds a Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) in Computer Engineering from Budapest University of Technology and Economics, which they obtained between 2006 and 2010. Szilard then pursued a Master of Science (M.Sc.) in Business Informatics at Budapest University of Technology and Economics from 2010 to 2012. In 2012, they also received an Erasmus scholarship and studied Business Engineering at Vrije Universiteit Brussel. Additionally, they have obtained certifications such as Certified ScrumMaster (CSM) from Scrum Alliance, Certified Solution Architect - Associate from Amazon Web Services (AWS), IT Information Library Foundations Certification (ITIL) from Hewlett-Packard, and Lean Six Sigma Green Belt from GE.
