Brett Bertles

Brett Bertles is a seasoned engineering professional with extensive experience in process control and automation. Currently serving as a Senior Process Control Engineer at Westlake since June 2023, Brett has previously held positions such as SIS Engineer at BASF and EI&C Engineer at Wacker Chemical Corporation, specializing in electrical, instrumentation, and controls. Brett's career includes roles at DowDuPont and DuPont, focusing on automation systems and process optimization. Early experience includes various positions at Sasol and ENGlobal, along with a co-op role at DuPont. Brett holds a B.S. in Chemical Engineering from Lamar University, completed in 2013, and has contributed to community engagement as the New Generations Director for the Rotary Club of Sulphur, LA.
