Muhammad Qasim Farooq

Muhammad Qasim Farooq is an experienced finance professional currently serving as the Associate Director of Technical Accounting at Westlake since September 2023. Previously, Muhammad held significant roles at Abra, including Director of Finance and Controller from April 2021 to September 2023. Prior to that, a tenure at PwC spanned from October 2015 to April 2021, with positions such as Senior Manager, Manager, and Senior Associate. Muhammad also worked at Deloitte & Touche as an Audit Manager from December 2011 to September 2015 and held the role of Assistant Manager Audit at PwC from October 2006 to October 2011. A brief consultancy at BP as a Finance Advisor occurred in 2010. Muhammad holds a CPA certification obtained in 2016 and is a graduate of The Institute of Chartered Accountants of Pakistan, having completed studies from 2004 to 2010, as well as earning a B.Com in Commerce from Karachi University between 2004 and 2006.
