Amy O'Connor

Amy O'Connor currently serves as the EU Just Transition Fund Tourism Activator for Westmeath County Council, focusing on economic diversification through grant aid for SMEs in tourism. Previous roles include HR, People & Culture Advisor at Glasson Lakehouse, Outdoor Activities Manager and Weddings & Events Coordinator for Press Up Hospitality Group, and Business Owner of AOCCoaching LTD. Amy also held the position of General Manager at Dún Na Sí Amenity & Heritage Park and worked as a facilitator for the Irish Defence Forces Women's Network, promoting female participation in the military. With extensive experience in logistics and personnel administration within the Irish Defence Forces, Amy has furthered professional development through multiple degrees, including a Master of Arts in Tourism and a Postgraduate in Innovation & Enterprise Development.
