Troy Harris has an extensive professional background marked by leadership roles in various organizations, particularly in emergency management and institutional resilience. As the President of MERRAG since 1998, Troy made a significant impact during the 2007 presidency focused on strategic planning. Currently, as the Assistant Vice President for Institutional Resilience at Westmont College, Troy oversees risk and emergency management operations. Troy also chairs the Standards Working Group for the Universities & Colleges Caucus of IAEM, where efforts focus on evolving emergency management standards for higher education. Notable entrepreneurial ventures include founding ReadyTracker, aimed at enhancing emergency management practices, and past experiences as the Purchasing Manager for Santa Barbara County. Troy earned a BA in Sociology from Westmont College and has been a member of several professional associations, contributing to various committees and initiatives.
