Alex Metzel

Alex Metzel is an accomplished executive with extensive experience in the oil and gas marketing sector. Currently serving as the Executive Vice President and Co-Founder of WestMont Energy since September 2022, Alex previously held the role of Director of Oil & Gas Marketing at Comstock Resources, where responsibilities included managing substantial gas purchases and sales, pipeline transportation, and strategic origination opportunities. Prior positions at Covey Park Energy involved marketing natural gas and crude oil, conducting market analysis, and coordinating midstream projects. Earlier roles included marketing and scheduling at EXCO Resources and land management at Continental Resources. Alex Metzel earned a Bachelor of Business Administration in Finance from Oklahoma State University in 2010.
