Burjis Dordi

Burjis Dordi has over 40 years of work experience in various finance and accounting roles. Burjis began their career at Godrej in 1978, where they worked in internal audit for 16 years. In 1994, they joined Twiga Chemicals Ltd as a Financial Controller for 4 years. Burjis then worked as the Chief Financial Officer at The Aga Khan Health Center in Tanzania from 1998 to 2001. From 2001 to 2007, they were employed as an Accountant at McDonald's Restaurants of Canada Ltd. In 2007, they joined Zylog Systems Canada Ltd as an Assistant Controller for 4 years. In 2011, they took on the role of Senior Manager - Accounting & Management Reporting at Trader Corporation for 1 year. Most recently, they have served as both the Financial Controller and the Director of Finance at Weston Forest Products since 2012.

Burjis Dordi completed a Certified General Accountant program from 2005 to 2007, earning a CPA, CGA degree in Accounting. Burjis also pursued a degree in Corporate law from The Institute of Company Secretaries of India, obtaining an ACSI degree. Additionally, they have a B Comm degree in Accounting & Auditing from the University of Mumbai. It is unclear when they completed their studies at the Institute of Cost and Work Accountants of India, as the start year is missing.
