James Rios

James Rios is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in pastoral roles, currently serving as Life Group Pastor at Westover Hills Church since January 2018. Prior to this position, James Rios had a distinguished career with the San Antonio Fire Department, retiring in December 2017 as a Fire Engineer and Community Safety and Education Coordinator, focusing on fire safety training for corporations and schools. Previous pastoral roles include Children and Family Pastor at Gateway Fellowship Church and Children's Pastor at Bethesda Assembly of God Church, along with experience as Kids Pastor at Fortress Church. James Rios holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Multi/Interdisciplinary Studies from Southwestern Assemblies of God University and an Associate’s Degree in Bible/Biblical Studies from Colorado Christian University.
