Renate Marie Klemetsen Jakobsen

Renate Marie Klemetsen Jakobsen is an experienced professional currently serving as VP of ESG and VP of Quality & Compliance at NorSea since April 2019, while also holding the position of Logistics and Operations Centre Manager. In addition, Renate is a Board Member at both NorSea Logistics AS and Westport AS. Previously, Renate managed the Service Department at Netel from June 2015 to March 2019, focusing on customer portfolio development, project management, and economic growth strategies. Early career experiences include roles at Indøk Sør, Karrieredagen UiA, and multiple internships at Eni Norge AS. Renate holds a Master’s degree in Industrial Economics and Technology Management from the University of Agder, complemented by study abroad experience at UNSW, as well as a Bachelor's degree in Renewable Energy/Electrical Engineering from the University of Agder. Additional studies in Electrical Engineering were completed at the University of Minnesota.
