Fabien Redon

Fabien Redon was appointed Chief Technology Officer (CTO) and Executive Vice President of Product Development of Westport Fuel Systems on May 1, 2023. As an experienced leader with a proven track record of building and managing high performance technical organizations, he brings knowledge and creativity to improve automotive energy systems for a sustainable future. In his role of CTO, Redon will be responsible for developing and delivering clean alternative fuel systems products from concept to customers in the global transportation and off-road markets while effectively implementing global integration strategies to optimize resource utilization worldwide. Prior to joining Westport, Redon served for five years as Executive Vice President and CTO for Achates Power. Prior to his most recent role, Redon held several other executive positions with Achates Power leading the company’s Technology and Performance and Emissions Development activities. He has also held senior roles with leading global companies including General Motors and Detroit Diesel. He holds a Master of Business Administration from the University of California, a Master of Engineering from the University of Michigan and a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from Florida Institute of Technology.
