Hopper Smith BG (Ret) currently serves as Chief Strategy Officer at Westwin Elements, focusing on government affairs and international feedstock procurement for the production of strategic minerals in the US. Prior experience includes roles as Executive Director and State Director of Aerospace and Defense at the Oklahoma Department of Commerce, and Executive Director of the Oklahoma Workers Compensation Commission, overseeing a 50-person agency. Hopper has also held positions such as President of Strategic Resource Consulting, Assistant Adjutant General (Army) and Land Component Commander for the Oklahoma National Guard, Director of Government and Public Affairs at Devon Energy, and Senior Combat Advisor in the US Army.
