Laura Choate

Laura Choate has a diverse work experience spanning over several industries. Laura currently works at Westwood Professional Services as an Assistant Project Manager, starting in October 2021. Prior to this, they held the position of Project Control Specialist at Stantec from October 2019 to October 2021, where they were responsible for project invoicing, financial analysis, and report generation. Before Stantec, Laura worked at the National MS Society, where they served as the Director of Operations from March 2014 to February 2017 and as the Finance/Admin Manager from April 2005 to February 2014. In these roles, they managed financial oversight, budgeting, and data administration. Earlier in their career, Laura worked as an Office Coordinator at TechSkills, an Assistant at Coldwell Banker Brown Realtors, and as a Manager at Barnes and Noble College Bookstores, Washington University School of Medicine. Laura also gained valuable management experience as a Manager at Lady Foot Locker, where they worked from January 1994 to May 2001.

Laura Choate received a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Business, Management, Marketing, and Related Support Services from Bradley University, which they attended from 1989 to 1993. In addition to their degree, they obtained certifications in Final Estimates I and II from the Florida Department of Transportation in May 2018, as well as Asphalt Paving Level 1 and Level 2 certifications from the same institution in July 2018.
