Tyler Hormell

Tyler Hormell has a diverse work experience. Currently, they work as a Geographic Information System Specialist at Westwood Professional Services since June 2022. Previously, they served as the SAFO Department Lead at Eataly from April 2021 to June 2022. Prior to that, they were the Blog Editor at Radio UTD, where they managed the design and content of radioutd.com and led a team of bloggers and writers from January 2019 to January 2021. Additionally, they worked as a Gem and Mineral Intern at the Perot Museum of Nature and Science from September 2019 to December 2020.

Tyler Hormell has a strong educational background in the field of earth sciences and geosciences. In 2015, they attended Belmont University and studied business administration and management, but it is unclear if they obtained a degree in that field. From 2016 to 2020, Tyler pursued their Bachelor of Science degree in Geological and Earth Sciences/Geosciences at The University of Texas at Dallas. Following their undergraduate studies, they went on to complete a Master of Science degree in Geographic Information Science and Cartography from The University of Texas at Dallas from 2022 to 2023. Tyler also obtained additional certifications, including Python Essentials from the Python Institute in April 2022 and ESRI Cartography MOOC from Esri in March 2022.
