Eileen Gutierrez

Eileen Gutierrez has worked in the tourism and sustainability industry since 2000. Eileen began their career as a Senior Advisor at Conservation International, where they coordinated the creation of an ecotourism learning network and developed and submitted winning proposals for tourism development projects. In 2007, they became a Program Manager at AED (now FHI 360), where they built partnerships between prime contractor, USAID and implementation partners, and coordinated the strategic planning and implementation of USAID's Global Sustainable Tourism Alliance (GSTA) program. In 2015, they became a Partner at Navigo International, where they conducted strategic planning and business development efforts, presented project concepts to targeted clients, and researched, developed and submitted proposals and budgets for funding. In 2018, they became a Senior Associate at Environmental Incentives, LLC, where they ensured successful start-up of USAID's Measuring Impact II program and led the creation of all technical and financial work planning and reporting templates. Most recently, in 2021, they joined WeTravel as an Account Executive, helping travel companies of all sizes grow market share with game-changing ecommerce solutions.

Eileen Gutierrez holds a Master of Arts (M.A.) in Tourism Administration from The George Washington University and a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) from Mills College.
