Maria Claudia Lira Alban

Maria Claudia Lira Alban has over 8 years of experience in sales and business development. Maria Claudia started their career in 2012 as a Sales Intern at The Ritz-Carlton Hotel Company LLC. In 2014, they moved to EF Education First as a Sales Territory Manager for the Arequipa Region, where they were responsible for the opening of the new office and the creation of local marketing campaigns. Maria Claudia also held the role of Sales Coordinator for Academic Programs and Pathways. In 2017, they joined Tripaneer as a Partner Business Development and was later promoted to Senior Partner Business Development. In 2019, they were hired by WeTravel as an Account Executive for Peru & Chile. Maria Claudia then transitioned to a Content & Brand Strategist for Latin America, where they jumpstarted and designed the webinar strategy from scratch. Finally, they were promoted to Regional Sales Manager to lead the expansion of WeTravel in Latin America and created the GTM strategy in the region.

Maria Claudia Lira Alban has a diverse educational background. In 2016, they obtained a Certificate in Revenue Management from Cornell University. Maria Claudia then completed a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) - 1 year dual degree program in Hospitality Administration/Management from Glion Institute of Higher Education, followed by a Bachelor of Business Administration (B.B.A.) from Universidad Peruana de Ciencias Aplicadas. Additionally, Maria Claudia Lira Alban has obtained a number of certifications from HubSpot Academy, Coursera, and Coursera Course Certificates.
