Jonathan Young Kim

Jonathan Young Kim is a highly experienced language professional with a diverse background in translation, education, and localization. As a Localization Specialist Lead and Quality Assessor at NAVER Corp from October 2017 to August 2024, Jonathan translated content for V LIVE and Weverse platforms. Prior to this role, experience as a Professional Translator involved working with various notable organizations, including CJ Entertainment and LG Electronics, between 2007 and 2022. Jonathan also excelled as an English Instructor and Academic Consultant, teaching over 800 students and earning recognition as a top instructor in various online platforms and institutions. Educational qualifications include a Ph.D. in East Asian Languages and Literature from the University of Hawaii at Manoa and a Master’s degree from Korea University.
