Susanna Tuan has a diverse work experience, starting in 2007 as a Legal Assistant at Buchman Law Firm LLP, where they assisted with licensing, regulatory compliance, and contractual agreements. Susanna then worked as a Project Manager at MySpace, managing initiatives for the social forum's media player department. In 2011, they worked as a Legal Research Assistant at Heath Newton LLP, providing legal support for a family law firm.

Susanna's legal career began in 2012 as a Judicial Law Clerk at the Superior Court of CA, County of San Mateo, where they wrote legal briefs and provided research support to judges. Susanna then interned at the San Francisco Office of the District Attorney, assisting attorneys with court proceedings and legal research. In 2013, they interned at Cooper, White & Cooper LLP, participating in discussion sessions, preparing for arbitration, and researching and drafting court motions.

During 2013, they also volunteered as a Post Bar Volunteer at the Access Center, San Francisco Superior Court, where they helped customers with family law matters and led workshops on dissolution and custody. Susanna also volunteered as a Volunteer Attorney at the San Francisco Bar Association- Justice and Diversity Center.

In 2014, Susanna joined Wevorce as a Wevorce Associate- Lead Architect. At Wevorce, they helped couples mediate their divorce process, unpacking emotional, financial, and legal issues to reach a marital settlement agreement without going to court. Susanna is also the Founder and an Attorney at Law of People Law Practice since December 2013.

Susanna Tuan received their Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of California, Santa Cruz, where they pursued a double major in History and Psychology. Susanna attended the university from 2003 to 2007. In 2007, they also briefly attended the University of California, Washington DC, where they earned a Bachelor of Arts degree. From 2010 to 2013, they studied law at the University of San Francisco School of Law and obtained a Juris Doctorate degree.
