Renata Gonçalves Mota

Renata Gonçalves Mota is the current CTO of LatAm at WeWork. Renata has previously served as the Head of Innovation & Digital Transformation at Grand Cru from September 2020 to April 2022, and as the Innovation & Technology Executive at Vivara from May 2015 to August 2020. Prior to that, they were the CTO & Co-Founder of Lets from October 2011 to April 2015.

Renata has extensive experience in developing new digital businesses and products, as well as in implementing and continuously evolving applications, digital platforms, OMSs, marketplaces, and data lakes. Renata is skilled in strategic planning, budgeting, and team management, and is also experienced in negotiating contracts.

Renata Gonçalves Mota has a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from FGV - Fundação Getulio Vargas, a Masters Degree in Computer Science from Universidade Federal de Santa Catarina - UFSC, and a Specialization in Software Engineer from UNOPAR - Universidade Norte do Paraná. Renata also has a Graduation in Data Processing from UNOPAR - Universidade Norte do Paraná. Renata is certified by Oracle in Oracle Service Oriented Architecture Infrastructure Implementation Certified Expert and by BEA Systems in Enterprise SOA Architect P1 (BEA SOA Foundations). Renata is also certified by Scrum Alliance in Cerfied Scrum Master and by Sun Microsystems in Oracle Certified Programmer for the Java 2 Platform, SE 5.0 and Sun Certified Web Component Developer.

Renata Gonçalves Mota reports to Jennifer Perrotta, Chief Technology Officer. They work with Cassandra Leyden - Head of Engineering, Vishal Arora - VP, Head of Technology - Japan, and Veena Basavaraj - VP, Engineering.
