Aser Blanco

Aser Blanco is an experienced professional in the financial technology services industry. Aser is currently serving as the SVP, Americas Strategy, Business Excellence, and Growth Initiatives at WEX Inc. Prior to this, Aser held the position of Chief Innovation Officer at Pagaya. Aser also worked at Google as the Director of Americas, Google Cloud Financial Services Solutions, where they supported leading organizations in their digital transformation. Aser has a background in corporate strategy, having served as the Managing VP, Corporate Strategy at Capital One and as the Managing Director, Head of Retail Strategy, Data Analytics, and Client Experience at TD Ameritrade. Aser started their career at McKinsey & Company as an Associate Partner in the Financial Services practice. Aser's early work experience includes being the East Regional Manager at Comunitel.

Aser Blanco obtained a Master of Science degree in Telecommunications from Escuela Técnica Superior de Ingenieros de Telecomunicación de Vigo from 1993 to 1998. Aser then went on to pursue a Master's degree in Operations Management at IE Business School from 2001 to 2002. Finally, they earned an MBA in Management and Finance from Columbia Business School from 2005 to 2007.
