Deepa Sharan

Deepa Sharan has extensive work experience spanning over several companies and roles. Deepa began their career as an Assistant Controller at General Mills in 1994. Deepa then worked as an SAP Consultant at PricewaterhouseCoopers from 1998 to 2000. Deepa joined Aon Hewitt in 2000 and held various roles, including Senior Director IT, Director IT, IT Portfolio Leader, Senior Manager IT, and Delivery Group Manager until 2015. Deepa then moved to Alight Solutions as a Senior Director of IT for Health Care Exchanges from 2015 to 2018. Deepa joined benefitexpress in 2018 as Vice President and later became the Senior Vice President responsible for IT Delivery until 2021. Currently, they are working at WEX as the Head of Health Product Technology and also holds the position of Vice President, leading the Consumer Driven Health and Benefit Admin Platforms.

Deepa Sharan earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Finance from Gies College of Business - University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign, studying from 1990 to 1994.
