Junaid Faruq

Junaid Faruq has a diverse work experience spanning various industries. Junaid has held leadership roles in multiple organizations, including WEX, where they are currently serving as the Lead Product Manager for Electric Vehicles. Prior to their role at WEX, Junaid worked at the Center for Sustainable Energy as the Director of EV Infrastructure Programs, overseeing the management of the largest EV Infrastructure Program in the country. Junaid has also served as the Head of Strategy & Business Development at Datch, Senior Manager of Business Development & Policy at SRECTrade, Inc., and Senior Business Development and Charging Policy Engineer at Tesla. Junaid's earlier experience includes roles at the American Gas Association, where they worked as Operations & Engineering Services Manager and Engineering Services Coordinator. Junaid has also worked as a Master Chemical Engineer at Johns Hopkins University, a Strategic Marketing Intern at Technology Transition Corporation, a Marketing and Operations Manager at Eastern Biotech & Life Sciences, and a Research Associate at the University of Pennsylvania. Throughout their career, Junaid has demonstrated expertise in areas such as program management, business development, policy advocacy, and technical consulting.

Junaid Faruq completed their Bachelor of Science degree in Biotechnology from Dublin City University from 2003 to 2007. Junaid then pursued their Masters in Chemical and Bioengineering with a focus on Biotechnology at The Johns Hopkins University from 2011 to 2012.
