Josh Whitston

Josh Whitston is a seasoned photojournalist with extensive experience in broadcasting. Currently employed at WFTS-TV since September 2022, Josh previously worked at Denver7 - The Denver Channel (KMGH-TV) from July 2016 to September 2022, where responsibilities included shooting and editing stories as well as running live shots for newscasts. Prior experience includes a role as a Multimedia Photographer at First Coast News from December 2011 to June 2016, where duties involved video editing, studio operations, and gathering news in the field. An internship at WJCT Public Broadcasting in 2013 provided foundational experience in booking guests and researching stories. Josh also held the position of Station Manager at Osprey TV, managing video production and scriptwriting. Educationally, Josh earned a Bachelor of Arts in Electronic Media from the University of North Florida and has two Associate degrees in Communication and Liberal Arts.
