Andrew McSherry

Andrew McSherry, MBCS CITP, currently serves as the Head of IT & Digital Services at WGM Engineering Ltd since March 2021. Previously, Andrew was a Non-Executive Director at Won Connect, a social enterprise focused on enhancing technology and digital inclusion for older adults and non-technical individuals from December 2019 to March 2021. Andrew has extensive experience in ICT management, having held roles such as Head of ICT at Scottish Canals and IT Support Manager at MITIE, where significant improvements in team efficiency and response times were achieved. Additional roles include IT Manager at USC Ltd and Group IT Executive at DAKS Simpson Group, with a consistent focus on ICT strategy, service quality, and team leadership throughout a career that began with a Systems Implementor position at Claremont Garments PLC. Andrew holds a degree in Business IT with Marketing from the University of the West of Scotland.
