Amanda McDonald, CBM, serves as the President and Lead Meteorologist of Flour City Weather since January 2015, providing meteorology consulting for various sectors including education, development, and legal professions. In addition to this role, Amanda has been a meteorologist at WHEC-TV 10 NBC since May 2009 and previously held the position of Lead Meteorologist at Fisher Associates from April 2012 to March 2015, delivering tailored forecasts for clients. Amanda also contributed to academia as an Adjunct Professor of Meteorology at Monroe Community College from June 2011 to June 2013. Prior meteorological experience includes roles at WINK-TV, Time Warner Cable, WETM TV, and an internship with The Weather Channel. Amanda holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Meteorology with a minor in GIS from Penn State University.
