Colleen Farrell has a diverse work experience in the field of journalism. Colleen currently serves as the Assistant News Director at WHEC-TV News10NBC, where they manage the digital team, collaborates with reporters and photographers on daily coverage and special projects, and oversees franchises like Fact Check and Good Question.

Prior to their current role, Colleen worked at 13WHAM ABC, first as a Digital Content Manager, generating engaging content for web and social media platforms, writing and editing reporter stories, and supporting reporters with their ideas and resources. Colleen then transitioned into the role of Assignment Editor, where they were responsible for staying updated on current events, determining what to cover, and coordinating with their teams.

Colleen also has experience as a Freelance Writer, Editor, and Proofreader at By Colleen Farrell, offering their expertise in print and digital mediums. Colleen has a decade of experience in print, online, and television journalism, which allows their to create compelling content.

Earlier in their career, Colleen worked as an Assignment Editor at Spectrum, where their responsibilities included writing stories, updating the website, coordinating videographers, and managing public inquiries. Colleen also worked as a Reporter at Messenger Post Media, covering community news, and served as an Editor/Reporter at Bee Newspaper, undertaking various tasks such as research, editorial content production, graphic element creation, proofreading, editing, and newspaper layout.
