Gabriel Vazquez

Gabriel Vazquez is the Director of UI Engineering at Whip Media. Gabriel has been with the company since 2016 and in their current role, they are responsible for consolidating a Front-End engineer team, managing the team, coordinating activities with other teams, defining and documenting development processes and guidelines, and providing production support. Prior to their current role, Gabriel was a Software Engineer at Whip Media and before that, they were a Java Consultant at SIIC. Gabriel has also held roles as a Project Leader at Softtek Integration Systems, Inc and a Software Engineer at Softtek Integration Systems, Inc. Gabriel has extensive experience with Java, JavaScript, VUE, Backbone, Underscore, JQuery, Gulp, Browserify, Marionette JS, JSON Schema, and more. Gabriel is skilled in using WebStorm and Attlasian products.

Gabriel Vazquez has a B.S. in Informatics Science from the Unidad Profesional Interdisciplinaria de Ingenieria y Ciencias Sociales y Administrativas. Gabriel also has certification from the Design Lab in Design 101 and from New York University in Project Management Certification. Additionally, they are an Oracle Certified Professional, Java SE 6 Programmer and an Oracle Certified Professional Java Programmer 1.6.
