Kelly Robinson

Kelly Robinson has a diverse work experience in the field of design and technology. Kelly currently holds the position of Lead UX Designer at Whiplash, where they are responsible for leading the user experience design efforts. Before joining Whiplash, Kelly owned their design company called girl grit design, where they specialized in visual and user experience design.

Kelly has also worked as a Senior Designer, UI/UX at Groundfloor Finance, where they led the design of user interfaces and user experiences for web and mobile applications. Kelly conducted extensive research to ensure compliance with accessibility standards and identified and resolved issues with client onboarding.

Previously, Kelly worked as a UI/UX Designer at Ware2Go, MATRIX Resources, and SapientRazorfish, where they gained experience in designing assets, features, and prototypes for various applications. Kelly also worked as a Junior iOS Mobile Developer at SapientRazorfish.

Additionally, Kelly has managerial experience, having served as a Manager at Watershed on Peachtree. Kelly also has experience as a Stylist/Designer at CraftLanta.

Kelly's work experience also includes volunteer work as a UI/UX Designer at Solution Foundation, where they contributed their design skills to support their design program.

Kelly Robinson has a certification in Design and Visual Communications from General Assembly in 2017. Additionally, they hold a certification in UX/UI and Visual Design from General Assembly in the same year. In 2015, they obtained a certification in iOS Mobile Development and an Engineer's Degree in the same field from The Iron Yard. In 1997, they obtained their GED in Art and French from Sprayberry High School. Kelly has also completed coursework at Georgia State University. Kelly has additional certifications in UXDI, Visual Design, and iOS Mobile Development.
