Nick Holzherr

Nick Holzherr is an experienced entrepreneur and angel investor. Nick has invested in more than 20 startups and served as an LP in two seed funds. In 2013, they founded Whisk.com, a company that utilizes AI and a food knowledge graph to make cooking easier and more enjoyable. Under their leadership, Whisk.com achieved profitability with 30% EBITDA and grew the team to 120 employees. The company was later acquired by Samsung in 2019. In 2016, Holzherr founded Air HR, a modular HR software platform for small and medium businesses. The company became profitable in 2017 and was acquired by KarbonPay in 2022. Prior to their entrepreneurial ventures, Holzherr worked in global investment banking at Deutsche Bank and also had experience as a software developer, offering freelance services building websites and web applications.

Nick Holzherr attended Aston University from 2005 to 2009. Nick pursued a degree in IBML (International Business and Modern Languages) during their time there.
