Scottie Girouard has a diverse work experience spanning over several years. In 1990, they began their career at Virginia Beach Federal Savings Bank, where they started as a bank teller and was later promoted to the retirement department. From 1992 to 1998, they worked as a Marketing Assistant at Dynamic Engineering Incorporated. Scottie then joined RedPrairie Corporation (JDA) in 1998 as VP of Talent Management, where they led various HR projects and interventions. In 2011, they worked at ITT Technical Institute as an Adjunct Faculty. That same year, they joined CONNECTURE as the Director of Human Capital, overseeing HR functions and developing talent management programs. From 2014 to 2018, they served as the Senior Director, and later Director, of Human Capital at CONNECTURE. In 2018, they took on the role of Independent Human Resources Consultant at ESG Services, LLC before transitioning to become the Director of Corporate HR at Rogers Behavioral Health. At Rogers Behavioral Health, they were responsible for HR operations, talent acquisition, employee relations, and HR continuous improvement initiatives. Scottie also worked as a Coach/Mentor at Patina Solutions, providing guidance and support for career development. Currently, they are the Vice President of Human Resources at White Cup.
Scottie Girouard completed a Master of Arts (MA) in Industrial/Organizational Psychology from The Chicago School of Professional Psychology from 2001 to 2003. Prior to that, from 1994 to 1996, Girouard earned a Master of Science (M.S.) in Management from Troy University. Their undergraduate education took place from 1985 to 1989 at Ripon College, where they obtained a Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in Anthropology and History. In addition to their formal education, Girouard obtained the SHRM-CP certification from SHRM in March 2015.
