Mie Young Reed

Mie Young Reed is an experienced human resources professional currently serving as the Dual Director of Human Resources at JW Marriott Indianapolis and Indianapolis Marriott Downtown since January 2021. Previously, Mie held the role of Director of Human Resources at JW Marriott Indianapolis from September 2010 to January 2021, and at Indianapolis Marriott Downtown/White Lodging from June 2006 to September 2010. Mie's extensive background also includes a significant tenure at Westin Indianapolis, where the position of Director of Human Resources was held from February 1993 to June 2006, alongside a brief dual role as Director of Rooms in 1998. Mie's foundational experience includes managing room service and hospitality staff as a Service Express Manager, overseeing multiple collective bargaining units. Mie holds a Bachelor's degree in Marketing and Management from Wilmington University, obtained between 1982 and 1986.
